Game of Thrones - Octavia Alexandru mysterious role

Con la cuarta temporada en pleno rodaje nos llega la noticia de la incorporación al reparto de esta jovencísima actriz británica. Avisados estáis de que entráis en terreno de spoilers. Para todos aquellos que no les importe llegar a la próxima temporada con alguna información de más… aquí tenéis vuestra entrada.

With the fourth season in the middle of the filming we receive the news of an incorporation to the cast of this young british girl. I'm warning you that now on you're entering into the spoilers world, so for those of you that don't care about them… keep reading!

Octavia Alexandru dará vida a Hoja, una Niña del Bosque. Y qué demonios son los Niños del Bosque se preguntará más de uno. La respuesta la tiene Old Nan (la Vieja Tata), y es que nadie presta atención a las historias que cuenta esta pobre anciana. Hoy día son solamente eso, historias. Pero doce mil años antes de que Aegon el Conquistador desembarcase en Poniente, estos "niños" fueron los primeros seres que habitaron el continente, mucho antes incluso de la llegada de los Primeros Hombres durante la Edad del Amanecer. Su aspecto es de piel oscura, grandes orejas y ojos con pupilas rasgadas como los gatos, por ello no es de extrañar que los llamen "pequeña gente ardilla".

Octavia Alexandru will play Leaf, a Children of the Forest. And what the hell are those kids? Well, the answer comes from old Nan (we never hear the stories of the old people). Nowadays it's just that, stories, but two thousand years before Aegon the Conquerer landed on Westeros, this kids were the ones that lived in the continent, even before than the arrival of the First Men. Her skin is dark with big ears and cat eyes, and that's why they are called "little squirrel people". 

Octavia parece una muy buena elección para el papel ya que Hoja aparenta ser una niña aunque tenga bastantes años. Confiemos en que consigan una buena caracterización del personaje ya que, como os pongo a continuación, va a ser de gran importancia.

Octavia seems a good choice for the role since Leaf looks like a child but she is quite old. We'll hope that the characterization will be good enough, cause it will be really important.
